The Olivetti Lettera 32 is a lightweight, portable mechanical typewriter introduced in 1963 as the successor to the renowned Olivetti Lettera 22. Designed by Marcello Nizzoli, it quickly gained a reputation for its sleek, modern aesthetics and exceptional functionality, making it a favorite among writers and creative minds.

This iconic model was famously used by literary and cultural legends such as Bob Dylan, who penned lyrics on its keys, Sylvia Plath and Philip Roth, who found inspiration in its precision, and Francis Ford Coppola, who typed parts of The Godfather script on this dependable machine. The Lettera 32’s blend of portability, durability, and impeccable design has solidified its place as a cherished artifact of 20th-century creativity.
