Our Repair Shop professionally services each typewriter. We have 10 years of experience in restoring thousands of typewriters. We always work hard to make these machines shine and type smoothly again. They're taken apart, thoroughly cleaned (deep chemical cleaning) reassembled, oiled, and adjusted. Also polished or repainted if needed and if it's possible.
ABOUT:
According to British Consumers' Association Report on Portable Typewriters, contained in the December 1962 edition of Which? magazine, Splendid 33 was the Best Buy, cause it was - "Light, small, cheap and very well made".
It was designed for Olympia Werke in Wilhelmshaven, West Germany, in the 1960s.
CONDITION:
All of our typewriters are serviced by an experienced former Olivetti technician.
Refurbished, clean, fully working condition with a new silver top cover. Please enlarge the photos for the most accurate representation of the condition and detail. New ribbon installed.

The typewriter was absolutely beautiful in all its vintage glory. I ordered it as a graduation present for my sister who lives in another city. Since the typewriter was still on the way by the time I had to fly to my sister's city, the shop owners were able to reroute the delivery directly to my sister's address. The package arrived a day before her graduation and she was beautifully wrapped. My sister absolutely loved it. So glad I found this shop on Etsy!
