Se trata de la primera máquina de escribir portátil de Olivetti y también se la conoce como ICO (acrónimo de "Ingegnere Camillo Olivetti", el fundador de Olivetti). Se dejó de fabricar en 1950. Para entonces, se habían fabricado 139.706 ejemplares en negro, rojo, gris y marrón, además de algunos otros colores (como el azul cielo) encargados por clientes especiales. Es un fantástico diseño italiano, a menudo descrito como la máquina de escribir más hermosa jamás fabricada.

Difficult to describe how pleased I was when this one was finally freed of the super packing in which it arrived. This rare machine had received some touch up work by Jacek. Whether to do this had been a difficult question, but the results were super beyond expectation. You can depend on El Granero to do their very best for you, and their best is hard to beat. And, as many reviewers have said, communicating and dealing with them is pure delight. This is number 4 for me, and there will be more to come.
