Over time, this material becomes brittle due to natural ageing, which is common for plastics used in the 1960s. If you need a replacement handle that is stronger, you’re in the right place. You can reuse your existing hardware and screws to attach the new handle. A standard flathead screwdriver is all you need- no special tools or extra equipment required.
