About:
The handles on Hermes typewriters' cases were originally crafted from a hard plastic composite. Over time, this material becomes brittle due to natural ageing, which is common for plastics used in the 1960s. If you need a replacement handle that is stronger, you’re in the right place. You can reuse your existing hardware and screws to attach the new handle. A standard flathead screwdriver is all you need- no special tools or extra equipment required.

Important: The typewriter and metal components (shaft and screws) are not included. The black case is available here.

Specifications:
This replacement handle is made of wood. The design replicates the original handle while offering superior durability. Unlike the old plastic version, this handle won’t deteriorate over time, ensuring a lifetime of use. The shade of the wood used for the handle may differ slightly from the one shown in the photo.
