Elke machine wordt behandeld als een mechanisch instrument, niet als decoratief object. Deze pagina toont de acht stadia op onze werkbank, voorbeelden uit de praktijk met echte bedragen en precies wat u betaalt voordat er iets uit elkaar wordt gehaald.
Geen enkele machine komt in dezelfde staat bij ons aan. Een Olympia die in een droge kast heeft gestaan, heeft weinig nodig. Ditzelfde model dat uit een vochtige garage komt, heeft misschien een nieuwe rol, een volledige demontage en weken op de plank nodig totdat er een onderdeel gevonden is.
Daarom inspecteren wij eerst en vertellen wij u daarna wat uw machine daadwerkelijk nodig heeft. Sommige typemachines doorlopen alle acht onderstaande stadia. Vele hebben er maar de helft nodig. Wij laten liever eerlijk origineel lakwerk met rust dan dat we een machine overspuiten om er nieuwer uit te zien dan hij is — en we herstellen de betrouwbare werking met respect voor de oorspronkelijke constructie en het karakter van elke typemachine.
Op de werkbank
Wanneer uw typemachine aankomt, voeren wij een technische inspectie uit: mechanische staat, typearmen, rol, wagenbeweging, echappement, lintmechanisme en algehele slijtage. Dit bepaalt de exacte omvang van de werkzaamheden.
Belangrijke onderdelen worden waar nodig gedeeltelijk of volledig gedemonteerd. Oud vet, stof, roestresten en verharde smeermiddelen worden verwijderd met de juiste technische methode. Elk bewegend onderdeel wordt daarna correct gesmeerd.
Versleten of beschadigde veren, stangenstelsels, typearmen, trekbanden, echappement-elementen en hendels worden gerepareerd of vervangen. Wij gebruiken waar beschikbaar originele onderdelen, compatibele vervangingsonderdelen of precisie-reproducties wanneer nodig.
De type-uitlijning, wagenloop, linttransport, regelafstand en indruk worden afgesteld totdat de machine schoon, gelijkmatig en consistent typt. Dit is de fase die bepaalt hoe fijn een typemachine schrijft.
Indien gewenst: reiniging van de buitenkant, polijsten, lakcorrectie, restauratie van stickers, en chroom- of nikkelpolijsten. Cosmetisch werk is altijd optioneel en wordt altijd apart geciteerd.
De machine wordt volledig in elkaar gezet en getest. Wij verifiëren de typekwaliteit, wagentransport, lintaanvoer en algehele betrouwbaarheid voordat de machine wordt vrijgegeven.
Eventuele extra reparaties of uitgebreide werkzaamheden worden vooraf met u besproken. Er wordt niets uitgevoerd zonder uw goedkeuring en er verschijnen geen kosten op een factuur waar u niet eerst akkoord mee bent gegaan.
Zodra de machine klaar is, kan deze worden opgehaald in Fuengirola of worden verzonden. Facturen en documentatie worden meegeleverd en er geldt garantie afhankelijk van het serviceniveau.
Wat het verschil maakt. Wij werken uitsluitend aan vintage en antieke typemachines. U bepaalt de omvang van het werk, wij gebruiken originele, compatibele of precisie-reproductieonderdelen, en cosmetische afwerkingen gaan nooit ten koste van de mechanische integriteit.
Prijzen
Elke klus begint met een inspectie, omdat niemand een eerlijke prijs kan geven voor een typemachine zonder deze te openen.
Basis luchtreiniging aan buiten- en binnenkant plus een eerste technische inspectie om de staat van de machine te beoordelen.
De 50€ is een verplichte, niet-restitueerbare minimale betaling die ongeveer 30 minuten werk van de technicus dekt. Voor complexe, zware of zeer vervuilde machines die meer demontage vereisen, kan tijdens de inspectie een extra 50€ in rekening worden gebracht, wat het totaal op 100€ brengt.
Grondige reiniging, smering, mechanische afstellingen en volledige functionele afstelling. De prijs stijgt afhankelijk van de grootte van de machine, de staat en eventueel benodigde onderdelen.
Voor machines die uitgebreide reparaties, vervanging van onderdelen of volledige restauratie vereisen. De uiteindelijke prijs is variabel, gebaseerd op de diagnose en bevestigd door u voordat het werk begint.
De doorlooptijd hangt af van de complexiteit en hoe snel onderdelen gevonden kunnen worden.
Echte cijfers
Dit zijn typische klussen, geen vaste pakketten. Prijzen variëren door ontbrekende onderdelen, corrosie en wat u wilt dat de machine kan doen.
Een draagbare machine voor incidenteel thuisgebruik. Compleet en functioneel, maar behoeft een grondige reiniging, uitlijning, licht cosmetisch werk en een nieuw lint.

Een semi-draagbare machine voor regelmatig, betrouwbaar gebruik. Zwaardere machine, complex intern mechanisme, verhard vet en kleine uitlijningsproblemen.

Een groot standaard antiek model dat een volledige mechanische servicebeurt nodig heeft. Uitgebreide reiniging en diverse mechanische afstellingen.
Geschat totaal 360€
Hoe lang het duurt. Een basisservice duurt drie tot zeven werkdagen. Een geavanceerde restauratie varieert van een week tot enkele maanden, afhankelijk van de machine en de onderdelen.
Merken en modellen. Wij werken met Europese en Amerikaanse machines — Olivetti, Olympia, Hermes, Royal, Adler, Erika, Underwood en vele anderen — van kleine draagbare machines tot grote standaardkantoormodellen.
Betaling en opslag, in duidelijke taal. De inspectiebetaling van 50€ is verplicht en niet-restitueerbaar. Elke extra 30 minuten werk van de technicus die nodig is voor diagnose of offerte, wordt gefactureerd tegen 50€. Onderhoudsplannen en abonnementen worden individueel geciteerd en het werk begint pas nadat u akkoord bent gegaan.
Klaarstaande machines moeten binnen drie weken worden opgehaald. Daarna bedragen de opslagkosten 25€ per week voor maximaal drie extra weken. Na in totaal zes weken wordt de machine als achtergelaten beschouwd.

Vul in wat u weet. Niets hier is verplicht behalve uw naam, e-mailadres en het laatste akkoordvakje — als u een vraag niet kunt beantwoorden, laat deze dan leeg en we zullen het op de werkbank uitzoeken.

Voordat u een machine opstuurt
Omdat een eerlijke offerte vereist dat de machine wordt geopend. De 50€ dekt ongeveer dertig minuten werk van de technicus en geeft u precies aan wat uw typemachine nodig heeft. Er wordt niets verder gedaan totdat u akkoord gaat.
Ja. Wij verzenden naar en van meer dan vijfenzeventig landen. Stuur eerst het formulier hierboven in — wij bevestigen de werkzaamheden, de verwachte kosten en hoe u de machine veilig kunt inpakken voordat u deze opstuurt.
Meestal wel. Zeldzame en antieke machines worden behandeld onder onze geavanceerde service, waarbij meer werk handmatig wordt verricht en onderdelen moeten worden gezocht of gemaakt. Stuur foto's, het serienummer en een foto van de koffer.
Dat kunnen we, met hoogwaardige autolak in de originele kleur of een nieuwe, inclusief het bijwerken of vervangen van emblemen. Maar bij een machine met een goede originele lak is dat meestal niet de juiste keuze: het kost meer en de geschiedenis gaat verloren. In 2021 I had bought a beautiful Olympia Traveler de Luxe...it looked like new. Between moving from one country to another and place to place I was finally able to bring it with me. El Granero does a fine job. I once had two rare typewriters of the same make and model. Both had problems. However, they were able to fashion one working and complete Groma Kolibri typewriter to me. I was on holiday in southern Spain shortly after the work was complete. he went out of his way to deliver the machine to our hotel. superb service everytime I have worked with El Granero typewriter.company.
